Wholesale Lilies (Lilium) in Dubai
Lilies, or lilium, are valued for their large blooms and strong presence in hotel lobbies, wedding arrangements and event floristry. Firenze Flora supplies fresh lilies wholesale to florists, hotels and event teams across Dubai and the UAE, including oriental, longiflorum and LA hybrid types. Check the current stock below, or pre-order for your date.
Choosing a lily. Oriental lilies have large, strongly fragrant blooms. Longiflorum lilies are the white trumpet lilies used in classic and bridal design. LA hybrids have large, bright blooms with a lighter scent. Each stem carries several buds that open in turn, so one lily stem keeps giving for days.
Handling and care. Many florists remove the pollen-bearing anthers as the buds open, which prevents orange pollen from staining petals, clothing and linen. Re-cut the stems and keep them in clean water. Lilies are toxic to cats, and strong lily fragrance can be too much in a small room or a restaurant, so choose the type with that in mind.
